The Ambco 650A and 650AB Pure Tone Audiometric Hearing Test is an affordable, ready to use system for pure tone screening and threshold hearing tests. The Ambco Pure Tone Model 650 Audiometer is user friendly, ideally suited for all practices including pediatrics, family care, general medicine, internal medicine and schools. Additional features of the Pure Tone Audiometer include analog dials, tone switch, steady and pulsed tone, tone present indicator and battery life indicator. The Ambco 650 series Audiometers are available powered by AC power supply or with an optional long hour operation on one 9 volt battery (650AB).

The Ambco 650A Pure Tone Audiometric Hearing Test System includes the Model 650A Audiometer, Headphones, AC Adapter, Patient Response Button, Audiogram Pad, Custom Carrying Bag, and AC Adapter. The Ambco 650AB Audiometer includes all the same equipment as the Model 650A and one 9 volt battery.

The Ambco Model 650A, 650AB Audiometer meets or exceeds all specifications and requirements for screening and threshold testing conducted by physicians, clinics, hospitals, schools, and industry to meet requirements such as ANSI 3:6 1996, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (O.S.H.A.), Child Health and Disability Prevention (C.H.D.P.), Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnosis, and Treatment (E.P.S.D.T.) and Federal Aviation Administration (F.A.A.), Police and insurance physicals. Hearing Screening Tests are reimbursable under CPT code 92551. Threshold Hearing Tests are reimbursable under CPT code 92552.
