The Befour Model SS-5000 Scoreboard is a multi-purpose coaching tool and sport scoring system. Designed for outside and inside use, its Day-Bright LED digits are readable from over 300 feet away, even in bright sunlight. The power source for the Befour SS-5000 Scoreboard is an internal rechargable battery or the Digital Scoreboard can run off 120V AC. The internal battery provides a full day of operation on a single charge. For extended operation, display brightness can also be adjusted as needed (5 levels). Timing capabilities for the SS-5000 Scoreboard include countdown timer (for sports like football), count-up timer (soccer), circuit interval timer (for running practice drills), stopwatch (to 1/100th second) and time-of-day mode. Scoring, Period, and Start/Stop/Reset functions are all available via remote. Operation is intuitive, so formal training is not needed. After each period expires the 106 dB horn sounds automatically, piercing through background noise like a ref whistle. The sound is easily audible across a playing field. Horn volume can also be adjusted or turned off.

The SS-5000 is designed to accommodate several mounting preferences. The built-in prop-rods allow it to be set up on the ground or other flat surfaces. For fence or wall mounting, the SS-5000 is equipped with hanging brackets. For raised mounting, the optional tripod kit (TRI-5000K) elevates to 7 feet with its easy "handle-crank" design.
