Contrary to conventional wisdom and popular myth, you don't sweat out toxins, and sweating has no cleansing function. Don't believe me?
Migraines are one of the most misdiagnosed and largely undiagnosed neurological syndromes. Popularly known for being headaches, they are often more complex and can be accompanied by nausea, light sensitivity, and unusual visual and olfactory perceptions.
No one knows what causes migraines. People who are afflicted with migraines report a variety of 'triggers,' which cause episodes including: allergic reactions, bright lights, loud noises, stress, alcohol menstrual cycle fluctuations, and foods containing tyramine, MSG, or nitrates. Migraines were once thought to be strictly caused by problems with blood vessels, but today researchers have different ideas.
Roy Cleveland Sullivan was born in 1912 in Greene County Virginia. When he was a kid working on the family farm, cutting wheat with a scythe, he was struck by lightning. Being hit by lightning is a rare, but not impossible event. In the course of an 80 year life span, the odds are 1 in 3,000. Roy not only survived that first brush with lightning, but lived to get hit by lightning 7 more times in his 71 years on the planet.

Our CEO, Scott Hanna shared a mouth watering salmon recipe on the blog. Whether it's in sushi, smoked on a bagel or barbecued, salmon is tasty and nutritious-- packed with Omega-3 fatty acids, Vitamin D, and protein. But this week, the FDA began hearings on whether to allow a genetically modified salmon, created in a lab, to be sold to consumers.
The ban on public smoking went into affect March 2006. Previously, the number of hospital admissions for asthma was rising by 5 percent a year among children under 15.
Critics of the ban said it would force smokers who could not light up in the workplace or in enclosed public spaces to smoke more at home, increasing the risk to children. But Dr. Jill Pell of the University of Glasgow, who worked on the study, said that did not happen. In fact, the opposite happened.
