BpTRU Wall Mount Instructions

BpTRU Blood Pressure Monitors for Adult and ChildrenThe BpTRU (Model BPM-100) is an automated non-invasive blood pressure monitor that is reliable, accurate and easy to use. The BPM-100 is designed for the office or clinic setting and operates with or without the operator present.

Below are instructions for mounting the BPM-100 on the wall.

Tools Required:

#2 Philips screw driver
1 hammer
1 Drill with a 1/8" drill bit
1 Pencil
Wall Mounting Instructions for the BPM-100 Blood Pressure Monitor: Locate hardware required for mounting

1. Locate hardware required for mounting:

4 x ¼ " metal bushings
4 screws (use #2 Philips screwdriver)
4 drywall anchors

2. To find a suitable location:

Ensure that the provided power supply cord can reach a AC mains wall socket (less than 2m). Ensure that the BpTRU is at a suitable height to be read by most operators
Ensure that the blood pressure cuff and coiled tubing can reach the patient (less than 2m).
Ensure that the BpTRU is at a suitable height to be read by most operators.
Ensure that no wall studs will interfere with the drywall anchors.

3. Use the bracket as a template to mark the screw locations.

4. Using a 1/8" bit, drill holes through the drywall in the locations marked

5. Tap drywall anchors into the holes with a hammer

6. Place metal bushings on screws.

7. Hold bracket against the wall, ensuring that the wall anchors are visible through the screw holes.

8. Screw through bracket holes into wall anchors directly. Ensure the screws are hand tight.

9. Insert reference card into the slot on the mounting bracket.


Note: Drywall mounting screws are provided with the BpTRU . For any other wall type, please contact your distributor for information on proper fasteners.
