Automated External Defibrillator (AED) in School - Cardiac Arrest strikes people of all ages and fitness levels, usually without warning. Many of these lives could be saved if bystanders act promptly to phone 911 and begin CPR, and if trained responders provide defibrillation within minutes.

There are several bills introduced locally, in both the United States Senate and House of Representatives supporting teaching CPR in school and implementing Automated External Defibrillator (AED) programs in schools. Currently approximately 11 states have legislation regarding AED's in school.
