The Exergen TAT-2000 Temporal Thermometer allows the choice of using disposable covers, or cleaning between patients with a disinfectant wipe. The Exergen TAT-2000 Temporal Thermometer is recommended for use in office-based practices, ambulatory care clinics, pheresis and blood donor units, and extended care facilities.
Taking a temperature with a light stroke across the forehead, the Exergen TAT-2000 Temporal Thermometer provides an innovative method of temperature assessment using infrared technology to detect the heat naturally emitting from the skin surface. The Temporal Thermometer is truly non-invasive, eliminating any discomfort caused by a thermometer inserted in the ear, mouth, or rectum.
The LED scan indicator indicates the temperature is being scanned and flashes when a higher measurement is detected, indicating the location of the temporal artery. The Precision Infrared System captures naturally emitted heat from the skin over the temporal artery. Thermometer shuts off automatically to preserve life of battery.
