FSS Update: 2,174 new FSS Items, 10 new categories (SINS), 8 New Suppliers, Added to our GSA/FSS Contracts
Thank you again for all your support of a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business that tries harder. We appreciate your business and hope we can continue to help facilities such as yours. I thought we should provide an update for your records on the changes to our FSS contracts.
We currently carry over 20,000+ items and over 146 suppliers viewable on our web site www.quickmedical.com. We have been in business for over 18 years and currently have over 7,000 items in our FSS contracts (see entire list with links to the GSA Advantage). In 2011, we added 2,174 new items and 10 new SINs (categories), 68 in total. We also added 9 new suppliers to our contract, 62 in total.
The most exciting is the types of suppliers we have added that have not been available on FSS before. These include:
Avcor Healthcare Products with their X-Ten/Honeycomb Elastic Compression Bandages, and Ice Right Thermal Compression Bandages, to protect against hypersensitivity reactions to latex.
Cardiac Science with top of the line Vital Signs Monitors, ECG/EKG Apparatus, Holter cardiograph Apparatus, Stress Testers, and Pulmonary Function Testing Equipment.
Fiberlock Technologies Kontrol Kube Advanced Containment System, the Most Advanced Method for Portable Containment.
Hausmann Industries with an expanded line of Exam Tables, Chairs and Stools, Medical Carts, Case Works, and Physiotherapy Apparatus.
MedReady Inc. whose low cost Medication Dispensers has become the Gold Standard for homecare for the Vets.
PDI (Professional Disposables International, Inc.) New items that add to their vast number of infection control products and include a special VA pricing program that provides 5-25% discounts over our standard FSS pricing to assist the MRSA programs in the VA Medical Facilities (see attached).
Sklar Instruments with Operating Room Quality surgical instruments, Sklar is the first choice for surgeons worldwide.
Terumo Medical Corporation, which has a full line of BP Monitors, Hypodermics, Insulin Syringes, Allergy Trays and Syringes, Winged-needle, sets, Micro-collection, and I.V. catheters.
Wallach Surgical has Digital Imaging Systems, Colposcopes, Cryosurgical and Electrosurgical Units, plus, a full line of disposable products and reusable coated and uncoated instruments for OB/GYN practitioners.
Bowman Dispenser specializes in the design, engineering, manufacturing and distribution of top of the line medical disposable dispensers.
In addition, we have numerous lines of medical equipment and supplies not available on FSS anywhere else. These include:
In fiscal 2010, we found that the largest FSS dollar sales to government facilities were Exam Tables, Temporal Thermometers, Medical Lighting, Wheel Chair/ Platform Scales, X-ray supplies, Neo-Natal Equipment and Blanket Warming Cabinet’s, Spirometers and Bariatric Items. Because of our relationship with our manufacturers, we have an extensive group of over 250 Manufacturer Representatives covering all 50 states, who work very closely with us. We can arrange for them to do an in-service for your facility at any time and for no charge.
We also have a strong representation with Measuring Devices (including over 233 different professional scales), specialized exam tables, INVITRO quick testing, case works, Medical Diagnostic Instruments, Medical Applicators, Lab Products, Clinic Supplies and Blood Pressure Monitors. We work hard to satisfy our Government customers.
