Hausmann Model 1580 ADA Convertible Space-Saver Staircase is ideal for physical therapy and rehabilitation clinics seeking a dynamic rehabilitation apparatus that occupies a minimal amount of space. The Space-Saver Staircase is designed to have a smaller footprint and occupy less floor space, but is also crafted to fit under a conventional eight foot ceiling.
The 1580 ADA Convertible Staircase is specially designed to accommodate facility needs by offering the choice of a straight line or 90 degree corner configuration. This feature offers convenience in space savings as well as dynamics in rehabilitation procedures. Hausmann1580 features two different sized step sections to alternate movements and trigger strength progression. One side of the Convertible 1580 Hausmann features three six inch high steps, while the opposite side offers four 4 1/2 inch steps.
Each individual step of the Hausmann 1580, along with its 36 by 36 inch platform is covered with anti-slip safety treads to provide positive footing and increased safety. As an additional measure of safety, Hausmann fits the 1580 Space-Saver Staircase with sturdy, ergonomically designed satin-finished premium hardwood handrails.
