MedReady Automated Medication Dispenser

Medready Medication Dispenser (For Additional Images See Image Tab)

As heard on the Jack Kahn radio show, 'Avoid medication errors with the MedReady Automated Medication Dispenser'.

Medready is a tool designed to aid persons who take medications on a scheduled basis. The Automated Medication Dispenser is designed to alert a person, by ringing an alarm at the time medications need to be taken. The unit is lockable preventing a person from inadvertently overdosing. The unit has twenty-eight compartments to hold medication and can be programmed to deliver up to four doses a day. The unit rotates and, at the pre-set times, the alarm rings and a door can be opened to access the appropriate medications. By opening the door to access the medication, the alarm is silenced. With proper use, a person should be able to adhere to the medication schedule that maintains his health

The MedReady Automated Medication Dispenser is a timed-alarm system that provides your next dosage automatically. The dispenser operates by easy-to-use microchip technology and stores your medication under lock and key. The MedReady dispenser holds up to seven days of four times a day dosing and costs less than similar devices. Gain more independence and feel better with the easy-to-use automated medication dispenser by MedReady.

Basic MedReady 1600 Features

  • Large 1/2 inch L.E.D. displays the time and aids setting alarms
  • Audible alarm can be set up to 4 times a day
  • Time for medicine alarm beeps 5 seconds on, 1 second off continuously until the medication door is slid open and the off position is activated
  • Note: Disabling alarm requires the medication door to be slid open
  • Programmable alarm sounds for 30, 45, 60, or 250 minutes, as user selects
  • Powerful Alarm sounds similar in tone and volume to a beeping microwave alarm but alarms on for 5 seconds and off for one second until disabled
  • Audible Alarm is 90dB, 2800-3000 Hz. (1500LF is approximately 400 Hz)
  • Only the most recent medication dose is available. Pill tray rotates to the next dose when the next audible alarm sounds. If a patient misses a dose, the pill dispenser denies access to the prior dose
  • MedReady holds 28 doses of dry medication such as pills or capsules (about 9 m & m's)
  • Alarm in pill dispenser is as easy to set as a digital clock
  • Medication is under lock and key, not just a latch
  • Pill compartments are designed to fit adult fingers and "ramped" for easy removal of medication
  • Compartment divisions keep medications in place even if the unit is turned upside-down

Basic MedReady 1600 Additional Features

  • Keep MedReady plugged into electric power. The 72 hour rechargeable battery back-up operates for travel or for power failures. The MedReady should not be used in wet or very damp environments
  • Security: MedReady is tamper-proof to provide the maximum in security. With access by key-only, caregivers can load MedReady and monitor patient compliance
