The S1000 is a high capacity platform scale with a maximum capacity of 1000 lbs with an accuracy down to 0.2 pounds. Function keys of the S1000 include Unit, Hold, Tare, and Zero on/off. The user can select to weigh in either pounds or kilograms with the Unit key. The user can also adjust the set functions to their particular needs. For example, the default of the scale is to show weighing units in kilograms - the default can be easily switched to pounds. The time delay before the scale automatically turns off is also easily adjustable. Low battery indication will display on the LCD display when the rechargeable battery's power is insufficient to power the scale. A black rubber mat is included with the S1000.
