Microscope Slides by IMCO are designed for use in a laboratory to hold objects for examination under a microscope. IMCO Microscope Slides are pre-cleaned, clear, extra hard glass, 0.9 to 1.0 mm thick and 3" x 1". Microscope Glass Slides are non-corrosive and non-fogging. The IMCO Microscope Slide has rounded corners with ground and polished edges. Microscope Glass Slides by IMCO are available in Clear or Frosted.
IMCO Microscope Cover Glass measures 22 x 22 mm and is consistent with most microscope slides. The Microscope Cover Glass by IMCO allows clinicians to focus, with high power, very close to specimens. The cover glass also confines the specimen to a single plane, reducing the amount of focusing required. The IMCO Cover Glass also serves to protect the objective lens from immersion into the liquid. IMCO Microscope Cover Glass #1, with a 0.13 to 0.18 mm thickness, is recommended for oil immersion or high resolution work. IMCO Microscope Cover Glass #2, with a 0.17 to 0.25 mm thickness, is used for general applications.
