Infantometer Use Instructions

  • Best results when 2 people perform the measurement
  • Table paper or liner may be used for sanitation
  • Spread Measure Mat flat on a smooth, hard surface
  • Lay baby on their back on the mat with top of head touching headboard
  • Position baby's body perpendicular to the headboard
  • Gently hold baby's knees together and press down to mat with one hand
  • Bring footboard up to baby's heels with the other hand
  • Line up footboard with vertical measuring lines
  • Read measurement along edge of Measure Mat
  • For clean up, wipe with soap and water or non-alcohol cleaner
  • Roll to store and keep from excessive heat
