The OMRON HCG-801 is an easy-to-use electrocardiograph unit that can record and store electrocardiogram (EKG) measurements of your heart rhythm. Each EKG reading records an approximately 30-second measurement and these EKG readings can help your doctor monitor your condition. The Omron portable EKG monitor also includes guidance screens to help you obtain good data when taking measurements. This unit is intended for use on the adult population.

The monitor is supplied with an SD memory card that can store up to 300 measurements, including the EKG data along with the date and time of measurement. Storing EKG data on the SD memory card, or in unit memory, allows your doctor to view them later.

Symptoms such as heart pain, palpitations and shortness of breath may be transient and can be difficult to record by conventional devices. With the Omron Portable EKG Monitor HCG-801, a recording of about 30 seconds can be made when symptoms occur whether at home or away.
