Constructed from tough fiberglass, the 4800DT has a weight capacity of 400 lbs. The padded top is made from SpiritMillunnium II naugahyde with 4 in thick foam padding. The edges of the table pad are raised to prevent small children from falling off. The gas-spring back can be elevated with flush-mounted lift handles to any angle up to 45 degrees. 18 or 21 in rolls of table paper can be dispensed from a holder in the bottom of the elevating back.

A 17 x 15 in foot extension in the back of the table can be pulled out to support longer legs. Two drawers on the left side of the table each hold 100 lbs and have a keyed lock for secuirty. The top drawer can also perfectly fit a Charder MS2400 Baby Scale. Children can climb onto the table using steps in the rear. If further assistance is needed, a step stool can be purchased to match the Pediatric Table. Wall Decals in a jungle or circus theme are also available.
