The Riester L1 Ophthalmoscope features a diopeter wheel with 29 corrective lenses including Plus 1-10, 12, 15, 20 and 40, and Minus 1-10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35. Ideal for ophthalmologist offices, hospitals, and other specialty clinics, the Riester Ophthalmoscope has an easy to use, aperture hand-wheel with semi-circle as well as small, medium and large circles. The L1 Ophthalmoscope also features a fixation star, slit and red-free filter with contrast-enhancing effect and optimized high performance optics with aspherical condenser lens. The solid metal, black chrome plated battery handles are compatible with instrument heads of 3.5V and 2.5V. The battery handles allow users to easily switch from one instrument head to another. Riester battery handles come in a variety of power source options including C and AA batteries as well as a battery integrated into the handle. The integrated battery handles feature a plug that can be directly plugged into an electrical outlet to be recharged.

The Desk Charger is designed to conveniently charge Riester Battery Handles when not in use. The Desk Charger can be used as either a desk model or wall model to best suit the needs of the medical facility. The Desk Charger features an integrated compartment for two replacement lamps and ear specula for quick storage. The status of the charging process is displayed on the device.
