The Riester L2 Otoscope features a 3.5V/120V Xenon illumination creating ideal lighting conditions similar to daylight and fiber optics for optimal beaming and transmission of the light. The Ri-Scope Otoscope also features a metal fitting for the ri-mini / pen scope specula and is compatible with specula by other well known manufacturers as well. The solid metal, black chrome plated battery handle is compatible with instrument heads of 3.5V and 2.5V. The battery handle allows users to easily switch from one instrument head to another. Riester battery handles come in a variety of power source options including C and AA batteries as well as a battery integrated into the handle. The integrated battery handle features a plug that can be directly plugged into an electrical outlet to be recharged.
