Arise Alternating Pressure Relief System features a capable 40 liter/min via a Medo pump and solenoid Valve alternating rather than using a less reliable timer motor, so often seen in other products. Two solid-state feed backpressure sensors on the circuit board assure accurate pressure measurement and optimum flotation therapy for patients weighing up to 300lbs.

Other system features include:

Audible and visual alarms on power outage.
Timed lock-out of controls to avoid tampering or inadvertent setting changes.
Patient position sensor detects HOB angle, and optimizes mattress flotation to avoid patient 'bottoming-out' Autofirm mode for patient procedure or to aid exiting from / ingress to the bed.
Three time cycle options for alternating mode.
Static, non-alternating "therapy" mode for continuous, compliant patient rest. Alternating mode for rhythmic pressure inflation and deflation of the mattress cells.
