The Anti-Wandering Door System requires limited set-up! This Door Alarm System can function with just the Door Bar, a Resident Wristband and a Caregiver Key (patent pending). Simply hang the Door Bar next to a doorway in your care facility and plug the Door Bar in.

When a resident wearing a wristband attempts to wander too close or through the doorway (two options available), the door alarm sounds audibly and visually. The caregiver can silence the alarm using the Caregiver Key or optional keypad. This system can also be configured for use with a Central Monitoring Unit that alarms at a nurse's station (or other location) and displays the doorway and resident that activated the alarm.

The DepartAlert Door Bar System functions with three easy-to-use components: a door strip monitor alarm, wall mount reset button and resident wristband. This is all you need to simply and effectively monitor exits or any crucial doorway in your care facility. The door strip mounts easily by any doorway. Activation is as simple as plugging the door bar in to an AC outlet. When a resident wearing a wristband attempts to depart through the doorway, the door strip alarms audibly and visually. Caregiver may silence alarm by using the wall mount reset button or other optional products such as the door system control unit. Door system control unit will test wristbands and door alarms to check that they are properly functioning, and will also reset the door system when in alarming mode (sold separately).
