Rounding out the complete line of STAT blood sampling devices, is the Pedi-Let line, designed for blood sampling from an infant heel. These patent-pending lancet blade devices have a non-reusable feature ensuring safety for both clinician and the little one.

The Pedi-Lets sterile, individual packaging features a unique, soft-design to help prevent tears in gloves when crumpled. The Pedi-Lets lancets feature a protective cap that is easily removed in one step. The device's trigger-head is clearly seen - allowing for precise control of where the incision will occur.

By simply applying pressure with the Pedi-Let pediatric lancet against the infant heel, the blade releases and retracts safely into body of the device. For further control, the devices are designed with textured indentations to prevent slipping.

The Pedi-Lets lancets (available in two sizes) are the latest addition to STAT's ever-growing line of clinical blood sampling devices. These non-reusable devices deliver a precise, blade incision in one sweeping motion, fully retracting safely into the device itself. Both lancing devices are latex-free and packaged in individual, sterile packs - 50 to a box. The standard Pedi-Let has a blade depth of 1.0 mm and a length of 2.5 mm while the Pedi-Let Preemie has a .85 mm depth and a 1.75 mm length.
