The S1000 Scale is a high capacity platform scale with a maximum capacity of 1000 lbs with an accuracy down to 0.2 pounds. Function keys of the S1000 include Unit, Hold, Tare, and Zero on/off. The user can select to weigh in either pounds or kilograms with the Unit key. The user can also adjust the set functions to their particular needs. For example, the default of the scale is to show weighing units in kilograms - the default can be easily switched to pounds. The Tare and Hold functions are particularly helpful when weighing larger dogs or other types of anxious animals.
