Wolf Radiation Monitoring Badges provide technicians with a precise monitoring system of radiation levels they are exposed to, and use state of the art thermoluminescent technology dosimeters which incorporate 4 independent detection elements, 2-Lithium Borates and 2-calcium sulfates, that measure exposure through three depths of tissue. The badges are worn for 90 days. A control badge, included with each tech radiation badge, is placed where there is no likely exposure to radiation. Every three months a new badge is automatically sent, along with an envelope for returning the current badge along with the control. The badges are processed and a report generated by a Panasonic TLD reader that's equipped with a micro-computer which controls QA functions that assures an accurate reading. Immediate contact will be made by phone if there are any badges that exceed the NRC safety standards.
The Lightweight 1 x 2 inch badge clips easily onto clothing. There are no set up charges or charges for staff changes. No charge for replacement reports or charges for control badge.
Wolf Radiation Badge Boards will complete your radiation monitoring system. Wolf has seven different badge boards to accommodate three badge types which store from 10 to 40 badges.
The badge board provides a perfect tracking method as well as an exposure record display area. The Wolf Radiation Badge Board accommadates either the TLD badge or film type badges. For film badges, a clear pouch is provided under the badge station to hold a new film strip. Badges easily attach to the board.
