Temperature measurement is an essential component of every diagnostic exam. Welch Allyn's SureTemp® Plus thermometer, an easy to use device with intuitive operation, provides more reliable readings with improved accuracy. It takes approximately 4-to-6 second oral temperatures, 10-second axillary and rectal temperatures and 15-second adult axillary temperatures; the variety of testing sites increases its versatility and usefulness.

When it's time to take temperatures some patients have little patience. The ergonomically designed Braun ThermoScan® Pro 4000 ear thermometer is engineered to take temperatures easily and accurately with the click of a button. It features an easy-to-read LCD display with icons that clearly communicate in any language, and an intuitive user interface and ergonomic shape. It's the only ear thermometer with a preheated probe and sensor for reliable readings. Active user feedback LED allows for fast and accurate anatomical positioning.

The 01802-110 9600 Plus thermometer calibration tester assists in keeping each device in dependable, accurate working order. The calibration tester allows for testing of the accuracy of the SureTemp® Plus and/or Braun thermometer. It is especially useful in vital signs devices featuring both thermometers - one calibration device works for both devices.

The 9600 Plus Calibration Tester provides a tightly regulated temperature source that eliminates the setup, precision calibration, and maintenance requirements of water baths and other general-purpose calibration equipment. The user takes the Å""temperature of the 9600 Plus Calibration Tester with the knowledge and assurance that precise readings are obtained because the unit is factory calibrated to National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) or equivalent devices. User
adjustments are not required or recommended.

The black body of the 9600 Plus Calibration System acts as a heat reservoir for the thermistor probe and as a heat radiator for the infrared ear thermometer.

The unit contains solid-state circuitry for long-term stability with minimal maintenance. Welch Allyn uses only precision components in the construction of the 9600 Plus Calibration Tester. To maintain traceability to NIST or equivalent, return the 9600 Plus Calibration Tester to the factory for annual calibration.

  • Calibration tester for Braun and SureTemp® Plus thermometers
  • Keeps devices in accurate, dependable working order
  • Especially useful in vital signs and/or diagnostic systems featuring both thermometers
