The Detecto 6600 Portable Bariatric Wheelchair Scale has a maximum weight capacity of 1,000 lbs making it ideal for all hospitals, long term care facilities, and surgery centers. The Portable Wheelchair Scale features a wide 40" platform which can accommodate larger wheelchairs. Patients with wheelchairs can easily enter and exit the Platform Scale thanks to floor ramps which are located on opposite sides. With a low 2" platform, the Digital Scale's platform is easily accessible even to patients who aren't in wheelchairs and can easily walk onto the Scale. A black rubber mat on the Scale's platform offers increased traction in order to help with stability. A pair of wheels and a pair of guide handles are located on opposite sides of the Digital Wheelchair Scale. By flipping the Wheelchair Scale vertically onto the side with wheels, users can grab onto the handles and easily transport wherever needed.
The Bariatric Scale can be stored vertically to help save space when not in use. Users have several options for placing the remote display when setting up the Patient Wheelchair Scale. The remote display indicator (Model 750) can either be positioned on a table top or mounted to a wall and features a 6 ft long cable. Features of the Model 750 indicator include the ability for users to lock in (and release) weights, calculate BMI (Body Mass Index), and select their units of measurement. The patient's weight will display in bold LCD digits on the indicator once it has been locked in. Located on the back of the remote display is an RS232 serial port which allows users to connect the Wheelchair Scale to a PC for EMR (Electronic Medical Record) functionality. In order to power the Bariatric Scale, users have a choice of 6 AA batteries (not included) or an optional AC adapter (not included - see ACCESSORIES below). The Detecto 6600 Bariatric Scale is ideal for all hospitals, assisted living facilities, and bariatric centers.
