The MIR 911006 Minispir™ Computer-Based Spirometer is an easy to use spirometer used for measuring lung function, making it perfect for lung and asthma specialty offices, as well as hospitals and clinics. The Desktop Spirometer features a user friendly multilingual interface which displays precise data results, including flow/volume loops and volume/time curves.
The Minispir™ simplifies the spirometry process. Reports display quickly, and will send out alert messages to the patient. The Respiratory Spirometer features a variety of incentive animations, which help to improve patient cooperation during a spirometry test. An embedded temperature sensor within the Portable Spirometer converts saturated body temperature and pressure (BTPS) to reflect the actual volumes in the lung. The Mini Spirometer has the ability to perform a PRE/POST bronchodilator test to assess the patient's respiratory status with a wide range of selectable parameters. The Computer-based Spirometer also has the ability to perform a Methacholine and Mannitol test to detect asthma, as well as an Estimated Lung Age Test (ELA) to assess whether the patient's lungs have been affected by smoking.
The Digital Spirometer is compatible with USB and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, enabling use with a variety of computers and devices. The Spirometer doesn't require any major cleaning and can be used with the FlowMIR™ reusable and disposable turbines (See ACCESSORIES below). The Portable Spirometer contains a rechargeable battery, and includes the Winspiro PRO™ software. The Mini Spirometer meets current ATS and NHANES III standards.
The Winspiro PRO™ software offers the ultimate home use package for spirometry, oximetry and telemedicine testing. Winspiro PRO™ features a user friendly search engine and is highly customizable, with the ability to perform different types of tests and communication protocols, as well as create specialized printouts for record keeping. The software can keep track of patient trend charts, and can be shared between different network users. The Winspiro PRO™ software is compatible with Windows XP, VISTA, 7, 8 and 10, and includes free updates.
The FlowMIR™ Mouthpiece Turbines offer a cost effective alternative to expensive resusable flowmeters. Each turbine includes a cardboard mouthpiece, and is packaged individually. The FlowMIR™ Turbines can perform spirometry tests, including bronchial challenge tests and POST bronchodilator tests. The mouthpiece and tubine can be easily disposed of after use, and are offered in dispenser form in quantities of 10 and 60 pieces.
